True diversity in you dayJoin a customer focussed teamMake real impact in a small teamEnjoy flexible hoursAbout the roleThe IM&T operations support team forms part of ONRSR corporate team, is a close-knit team who work closely together to get through a diverse volume of work and you will be supported in this role.As the senior IM&T officer, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of IT services in support of both project and operational outcomes in a small, dynamic national organisation. The position will act as primary support to the Manager, IM&T Operations & Support as the technical lead to ensure IM&T meet business needs.As a member of the IM&T operations support team you will be entrusted to work autonomously and trusted to support our people nationally. The team is small and you will be involved in delivering 1st, 2nd and 3rd level end-user support with a proactive and cooperative approach.This is a key front facing role, where you will work closely with all levels of the organisation from administration teams to executive directors in order to provide exceptional IT operations support in a customer focused and professional office. Along with the responsibility of overseeing the overall IT infrastructure including network, firewalls, servers (virtual and physical), to ensure that it is kept up-to-date, secure, performant and cost effective.Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be paramount as you will work closely with key vendors and internal stakeholders. You will be working with people from all around the country to provide end-user education and training on IM&T policies, processes, procedures and user guides to promote continuous improvement in day to day service delivery.You need to be a natural problem solver with the tenacity to seek solutions as you develop and maintain our procedures to ensure controls and guidelines for multiple platforms.To be successful in the position you should have:Demonstrated ability to work independently as an individual or as a team member with minimal direction.Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve successful outcomes.Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus.Excellent written and verbal communications, sound organisational skills and good attention to detail.Ability to recognise problems, develop alternative solutions and implement actions compatible with organisational goals.Demonstrated experience in network support and troubleshooting.Deep understanding of IT security concepts and experience in applying these to ensure systems are secure through their life cycle.Certifications for Microsoft Azure (minimum AZ-104) and ITIL (minimum Foundations).Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting the following Microsoft technologies: Azure Cloud Services; Azure Sentinel, System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and IntuneMinimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.Possess relevant tertiary qualifications.About usThe Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR) has the responsibility for regulatory oversight of rail safety throughout Australia.
